Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo, born February 20, 2003, is an American performer and singer-songwriter. Her lead roles in the Disney films High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Bizaardvark became well-known in the latter half of 2010s. Rodrigo became known as a household name following her joining Interscope Records and Geffen Records in 2020. The first single she released "Drivers License" broke records and was named one of 2021's best-selling songs. Following the release of "Drivers License" Rodrigo dropped "Deja Vu" (single) as well as "Good 4 U" (solo studio album). She received numerous honors, which included three Grammy Awards. Olivia Rodrigo, a Disney+ documentary on her artistic process for Sour was released in 2022. Apart from other accolades she has received an American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time announced her as the 2021 Entertainer of the Year , and Billboard named her the Woman of the Year in 2022.
For her contributions to music, Rodrigo has various accolades which include three Grammy Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards, four iHeartRadio Music Awards and two People's Choice Awards, an American Music Award, a Brit Award and the Juno Award.Rodrigo was placed in the 2021 edition of Time magazine's 100 Next list,[110] and named Time's Entertainment Star of the Year for 2021. [111] Billboard gave her the Woman of the Year award at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music. [112] She's also been awarded "Songwriter of the Year" recognition from Variety in 2021. in 2022 at the ASCAP Awards. [114]
