Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to the catchy electro-pop tunes "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream and a knack of writing songs with emotional inspiring lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront in the world of mainstream and the artful independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed her and started preparations to release her debut album.
