Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Her most well-known role is anchorwoman for CNN's morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been a part of CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. She has also served as a correspondent for Congress based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. During her membership for the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and other congressional activities, including negotiations to increase the debt ceiling for federal government and the super committee discussion. Her work on general assignments has included reports regarding Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. She worked as an CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. She lives now in New York City together with her husband, two sons and two grandkids.
