Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. She has produced more than 20 studio albums. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk-rock and alternative rock although it has additional influences from punk funk hip hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco, widely regarded as a feminist icon and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as the creator of DIY music. She was among the very first musicians to establish the label she created in the year 90.
