The athlete that has earned a name for herself in American society. She's one of just six women who have won all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. The American has racked up an impressive 82 World Cup victories in total. She is the best skier in the world and the top American racer of all time in skiing have announced their retirement after this year's World Championship in Sweden. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of health issues. Social media was used to declare her retirement.
